Edoras!

Edoras the capital of Rohan! A short 30 min hike up Mount Sunday where Edoras was once located. The trip up to the summit was pretty easy and would rate it a 3/10 on the difficulty scale.

When Peter Jackson was filming and scouting for specific locations, he had to get permission from the Maori tribe leaders first. They granted him access to their land, under the condition that he leaves the land like he found it. So what ever vegetation was dug up, Peter Jackson brought that vegetation to a farm, had someone maintain it and place it back once filming was done. Every blade of grass was brought back like it was not touched.

When we got the summit you are surrounded by vast landscapes, again I say this every time I go back into my photos so show people " this looks like a desktop wall paper! it doesn't look real! " The views were impeccable, and everyone soaked it all up. We had a group of people how brought props, armor, and Rohan inspired costumes.

I was able to take my DJI Mini 2 up and captured some amazing shots!
