Fangorn Forest and More!

Fangorn Forest what madness drove them in there?

On this day we had a jam packed day, seeing the Fangorn forest, the calling of Shadow Fax, the marshes where Gollum pulled Mr. Frodo out of the water, the breaking of the fellowship, Silverlode bridge, the Orc funeral pyre and the infamous tree/ log where Frodo told Mary and Pippin parted ways.

This was a jam packed day, making as little pit stops as possible, but with every stop we definitely took it all in, reacting scenes and admiring the views.

Later that night we had our farewell dinner, breaking bread and having pints one last time with our new fellowship. It really hit home that night that this is the last time we would potentially see any of these amazing people. The bonds we made, the memories we shared were all reminisced that night. Saying farewell to our AWESOME tour guides, Julie, Sasha, and Josh was not an easy task, tears were held back and choked up voices were spoken. But these were not goodbyes, but a see you later...til our next meeting.

We then went out on the town and enjoyed a good too many drinks, from Moscow mules, to my favorite ginger beers for you non alcohol drinkers.
